    The implications of a Smartphone in today's world are un-paralleled. Smartphones have become and indispensable part of our lives. This fact can be easily understood by the mini-heart attack that we get when we don't find our phones in our pocket! Implying that we are scared to loose our phone, even for a second. Well the Smartphone fiasco was started when Apple launched it's new product, The iPhone about 6 years ago. After that came the Android with HTC and then the Windows phone. The iPhone and the plethora of Android phones, manufactured by various companies after licensing from Google, occupied the Smartphone market the World over. Although the Windows is a good Phone, it ended up being a beautiful device that no one wants.
        After the Smartphone revolution, came the Tablets. Tablets are like mini-mini versions of computers that were introduced by Google and run on its Android Operating system. The Tablets have about 7-10 inch screens, ideal for watching movies, and wifi connectivity as well. Also some Tablets had the facility of a sim card for Internet on the go, making it a fully portable device. Considering this and all other qualities that Tablets offer, the demand for them quickly raised. And I was one of the contributor to that demand. I specially like Tablets because they work almost like a Smartphone and they have big screens, with good battery life, excellent for watching movies and playing games. So with the intent to buy such a tab, I went searching at my local store. I saw a lot of Chinese made cheap tabs, but also some high end ones like the Nexus and the Samsung, with a price difference of almost 15K between them! So even after knowing the high price i thought i could at least Bargain about 500-1000 rupees and get some sort of satisfaction for my wallet. However, the shop owner was not ready to reduce the price even a 100 bucks! How figgin ridiculous! Not wanting to loose hopes, I looked over for Online Shopping options. I was inclined to shop with Flipkart since they give a secured payment method and with a good delivery time and a product guarantee. Also my friend gave me a discount Coupon he had got with his last purchase. Mrs Meena

Mrs Meena is our quirky next door neighbor. She is the stereotype of a typical marwari housewife and often speaks in matters she doesn't understand. One fine day when Mrs. Meena happened to visit our house, my mom showed her the new Black & Decker chopper and whisker that she had bought. She was describing it to her that what a good piece of technology it was and how helpful it was for her in day to day life, not only finely cutting the veggies but also how fast she was now able to cut it and make different sabzis out of it. Mrs Meena was also listening everything intently and judging by the look on her face, she too wanted that piece of technology. And when Mrs Meena realized how much she wanted that as well, she quickly jumped to the topic of pricing and asked my Mom how much did it cost. My Mom then told her that she'd bought it online from Flipkart.com as she had some Coupons left with her from her previous buy. Chappar Phaad Ke!

          We all have heard the famous song from Hera Pheri -- " Dene waala jab bhi deta, deta chappar phaad ke! " and the we all saw the look of contempt, happiness and exhilaration on the faces of the three men, specially on Paresh Rawal's! Well there was a similar on my face as well and here's why...

          We often see a lot of things on internet or TV that we feel like buying.We may not necessarily require those things but still the ads are so tempting that the necessity suddenly comes up.
well such is the story of a pen drive that i recently bought.Its a 16 GB dragon tattooed pen drive that i bought from Flipkart. When i saw the ad of this wonderfully designed pen drive i just googled it and found a couple of e-commerce websites selling it. obviously there was a lot of difference in the pricing so i was looking for the one that offered me a good Bargain.
                   Then i happen to see a website knows as gopaisa.com that had Coupons  that offered me a 10%  Cashback on my purchase! So i took that offer without a second thought. Everything processed smoothly and pretty easily and the product was delivered in 2 days. And it doesn't end here, i was selected for a lucky draw with a full expenses paid Malaysia Trip as its bumper prize! (AMAZING, I know) and no points for guessing who was the 'Lucky' winner! :D
   
So then began my research about Malaysia. Of course everyone have heard about this wonderful place in the East, but how many of us actually know anything about it??

Rugged mountains reach dramatically for the sky while their rainforest-clad slopes sweep down to floodplains teeming with forest life. Cool highland hideaways roll down to warm, sandy beaches and rich, humid mangroves.

For the perfect holiday full of surprises, the time is now, the place is Malaysia.

    Having had an interesting past and being a part of the international spice route many hundreds of years ago, Malaysia has turned into a mosaic of cultures. Everything from its people to its architecture reflect a colorful heritage and an amalgamated culture. To understand Malaysian culture, you must first get to know its people.

    Its a Land of Intriguing Diversity -- Malays, Chinese, Indians and many other ethnic groups have lived together in Malaysia for generations. All these cultures have influenced each other, creating a truly Malaysian culture.

The largest ethnic groups in Malaysia are the Malays, Chinese and Indians. In Sabah and Sarawak, there are a myriad of indigenous ethnic groups with their own unique culture and heritage.
So iff anyone wants to see how different cultures come together and live together to form a society, Malaysia is the place to be!

                Things I want to do in Malaysia  

    1. Patronas Towers --
        Towering at 451.9m above street level, this world-renowned icon is currently the world's tallest twin structure and fifth tallest skyscraper.Going to Malaysia and not seeing the Petronas towers is like a sin! Standing in front of the towers and clicking the most amazing picture is something I would definitely love to do in Malaysia.

    2. The gastronomic hunt – Jalan Alor, Kuala Lumpur
        Being a foodie i'd head to Jalan Alor for an authentic street food experience to enjoy a plate of char kuey teow or BBQ chicken wings amidst the sound of clanging woks and waiters shouting out orders.

    3.  Beaches --
        The beaches of Malaysia are haven for adventurous people like me. Some of the popular water sports I would like to try include Catamaran Sailing, Speed Boating, Snorkeling, Banana boat rides and paragliding.

    4.  Nightlife in Penang --
        Having heard a lot about the nightlife in Malaysia, especially Batu Ferrinhgi, I would love to explore it and enjoy itt.

    5.  Trekking and Camping --
        Jungle Trekking is a great way to explore the insides of Malaysia. I would like to go for a walk in the Teluk Bahang forest. I would also like to explore the unspoiled beaches and the old lighthouses at the north-western side of the island.Also the World's largest cave chamber in Mulu.

    The most unique thing about Malaysia is that it has everything to offer for everyone! Falling in love with places is easy because they have something to offer to each traveler. For the extrovert, there are people to talk with and understand the lifestyle; for the nature lovers, there is breath-taking flora and fauna to blow their minds away! For the ones in love, there are serene tourist spots and for the adventurous bunch of friends there are mountains to go trekking on or water adventure sports to experience & try something they have never tried before in their life!

    Malaysia as a country is a bubbling, bustling melting-pot of races and religions and offers a range of delicacies making available a gastronomical paradise for the people. It is a warm home to hundreds of colourful festivals. A place which offers innumerable reasons for you to fall in love with!

                  Malaysia, a truly Asian destination for delight and joy. Everyone wants to visit the pristine beaches at Langkawi Island, Kedah or something more adventurous like visiting the Gunung Mulu National Park, Sarawak to experience the flora & fauna. Run by Silas Gunting, a descendant of the local Murut who is now a succesful KK businessman, Orou is one of the more innovative eco-tourism projects in the state, and offers offers what may be the best package tour in Sabah.

Thean Hou Temple

Off Jln Syed Putra, this multilayered and highly ornate temple is one of the most visually impressive in Malaysia. It's dedicated to the heavenly mother, Thean Hou. Her statue takes centre stage in the main hall, with Kuan Yin (the Buddhist goddess of mercy) on her right and Shuiwei Shengniang (the goddess of the waterfront) to her left.

Kuching’s most important culinary event of the last few years was the opening of this elegant restaurant, the first to treat Dayak home cooking as true cuisine.

El Centro is the traveller's hangout you've been looking for: cool, Asian-mod decor, soft lighting, good music that isn't the same recycled pop every other Malaysian bar plays, and a general sense of chilled-out-ed-ness that makes it easy to meet other wanderers and form new friendships.

Bhaji wala Bhaiiya

One fine morning when i was happily dancing in rain with Priyanka, my mom came shouting and woke me upp from my dream. Damnn...such a nice dream it was man. Such dreams do not come often. So i when i was just about to demand an explanation, my mom came and said, " beta do u have any coupons with u?" I thought she is asking train coupons, so i said,
me : i guess yes..but for what u want?

me : really?
